Should we be investing more in our space programs

Oh, and I'm presuming, America by 'we'. Feel free though to offer an argument for global space programs etc.

I think that it would be a great idea to take people we don't like and ship them off into space. You know, jettison their ass off the planet ;)

Yes, but the space program is not a investment, it is a government expenditure. Enough with government monopoly of space programs. It is becoming to costly for U.S. taxpayers.

Investment in private enterprise for space exploration is the future.

"Too much on our plate already"? Without space exploration, where will we put the billions of people born in the next hundred years? As I wrote on another debate, Marshall Savage wrote that there will be an estimated 5 quintillion humans by 3000 AD.
