Should the world learn a simple international language that is spoken in all political or business endeavors. Esperanto is a language created to be simple, and to be used as a tool between nations, and yet I had never heard of it until about three days ago. Would language-globalization be beneficial towards a unified, more peaceful world?
Frightening parallels seem to exist between the two periods. Is it right to call the War in the Middle East a modern version of the War in the Far East?
By classical, I suppose I could open it up to modern composers. However, it must be instrumental, choral, or an opera composer. No composers of rock, metal, hip-hop, etc.
Does the Farming Industry (either Agribusiness or Mom-and-Pop Farms) need help from the US government? Are farms in control of themselves? Are they as susceptible to corporate strings as the rest of the economy?

Is a global government organization a good thing in the modern world. It could be like the UN or the League of Nations, but not necessarily that. Either more or less powerful. What if it requires giving up some "national rights" in favor of "global"/"universal" rights?
Can we assume that reality is real? Is it possible to make such a broad conclusion. After all that conclusion is based on sensation and the organized perception of reality, which can be fooled. From this, is it possible that reality is merely invented within our minds and different for each person?
Video games have many different aspects: training reflexes, improving memory, problem solving. But they also can lead to a disconnect from reality. Are they bad for you?
If we have at all advanced as a species beyond territorial rivalry, then why is the Earth constantly under a state of fear, be it the threat of nuclear war, terrorists, anti-terrorism, imperialism, economic destabilization (to name a few examples)?
If someone is in danger, should we have a legal obligation to help them, i.e. have good samaritan laws? For example, if you are walking around a lake, and you see someone drowning, and he or she sees you, and you keep walking without helping the person, should you be punished?
